OUR TRUFFLES:

Our black winter “Périgord” truffles (tuber melanosporum) are only in season from December to March. They are cultivated in a hazelnut orchard and hunted by our truffle dog Claire. By purchasing your truffles directly from us, you are guaranteed that the time from soil to table is minimum, giving our customers the most luxurious and aromatic dining experience.

Our orchard management style is to focus on natural and sustainable practices including regenerative soil management. Truffles are native to wild habitats and our goal is to mimic natural conditions and cultivate an ecosystem.

Fresh truffles are the only product that we offer because there are no long term solutions for preserving truffles, without using a chemical additive.

Do you love truffles? Have you always dreamed of finding your own fresh truffles? Do you want to learn more about this elusive mushroom? Join us for a unique experience in Kyustendil Bulgaria, only 90km south of Sofia.

During the 2024/2025 French Black, Périgord Black (tuber melanosporum) truffle season, spend Saturday with us hunting in our orchard with the help of our dog Claire. You will get to see firsthand how ripe truffles are expertly sought and excavated from the soil.

Following the hunt, we will have the opportunity to taste our efforts at The Truffle Room in Shipochano. Our chef Casey Angelova will be preparing 3 course tasting menu filled with the recently unearthed black diamonds, and paired with Bulgarian wines and Angelove’s cherry and plum rakia.
